Just over a month ago, I took a trip to Italy. If you are wondering why I went to Italy, it was actually for a surprise gift to my girlfriend. My girlfriend’s birthday was a month and a half ago, and although she wasn’t expecting anything more than a nice handbag or piece of jewelry from me, I completely surprised her with a seven day trip to Italy for the two of us. This may sound like an extravagant gift to you, but we have been together for over three years, so I felt completely comfortable giving her this kind of gift. Given the fact that there is a very good chance that she is the woman I will be marrying someday, I didn’t have a problem investing in amazing trip for the two of us.

I can’t really even begin to describe how great taking a trip to Italy was. We both had high expectations for our trip, and I think it’s safe to say that all of our expectations were exceeded by our actual trip. This is a trip we will both always remember, and I am so glad that we got to take it together.
