Because it’s the time when Christmas takes place, I know that if you ask a lot of people what their favorite month is, they are going to say December. While I would say that there have been years when December has been my favorite month of the year, that is definitely not the case this year. In regards to 2009, my favorite month is going to be the first one.

If you are wondering why I already know that January is going to be my favorite month of 2009, the reason is because of something that I am going to get to do during this month. The experience that I’m going to have is a trip to Italy. I will be going there with my boyfriend, and he is actually the one who gave this trip to me as a gift on Christmas.

As you can probably imagine, I am extremely excited about taking this trip to Italy. While I have traveled around the United States quite a bit, this is actually going to be the first trip that I take outside of the country. I would by lying if I said that I wasn’t feeling nervous at all, but I can definitely say that my excitement is outweighing my nervousness!
